Running Waters Equity Fund Grant Overview
Running Waters Equity Fund invests in community-led work that strengthens visibility, builds sustainable infrastructure, advances advocacy, and creates long-term systems change for minorities, Black communities, and people of color throughout the Blue Mountain Region.
Our funding priorities center on projects, organizations, and initiatives that increase representation, strengthen community power, expand leadership opportunities, support culturally responsive work, and create lasting social, civic, cultural, and economic impact. We believe visibility matters because representation in public spaces, leadership roles, institutions, and decision-making spaces directly shapes belonging, access, and opportunity within our communities.
Running Waters Equity Fund utilizes an invitation-based grant process. The first step is requesting a meeting to discuss your organization, project, community need, or proposed impact. If your work aligns with our mission and funding priorities, applicants may be invited to submit a formal funding proposal.
Once approved to apply, applicants may submit supporting materials including written proposals, budgets, organizational documents, presentations, photos, and video pitches as part of the review process. All required application questions must be completed for funding consideration.
